What is FARNET?

FARNet is a universal registry of First Aid and CPR certifications from any and all agencies.

  • Allows users to share and show their certification status with any concerned party (e.g. an employer).
  • Gives Employers and Professional Organizations the necessary tools to track and verify the certification status of their employees and members.
  • Assist all users in keeping the currency of user certifications up to date with timely reminders.
  • Support Agencies, Training Providers, and especially course Instructors in planning and advertising First Aid and CPR programs.
  • Provide users with communication tools specifically related to their certifications. Agencies can communicate with Training providers and Instructors, Instructors can communicate with their clients and students, Students can reach their Instructors and Employers with any training related questions.
  • Find relevant upcoming training programs to enroll in that are nearby.

Student

A Student goes to FARNET and uses the Search Tool to find a First Aid Course. Directly from FARNET they enrol in a course and receive confirmation. After attending and passing the course the Instructor can update the Students FARNET profile to reflect the students new certification status. The student can then share that status with an employer or anyone they wish. In the future the Student will receive Alerts prior to expiration of their certification with renewal options.
